Fansipan Summit full day via Vietnampackagetravel

Night train Hanoi – Lao Cai: Pick you up at your hotel at 20:30 PM and transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai Station. Overnight on the train.(only for option departure from Hanoi)

Meet your guide and driver at the hotel at 5:00am, (takeaway breakfast  will be arranged) leave Sapa for Heaven gate.

Get ready: check your equipment and baggage carefully before the trip.
 
At 5.30, start to an adventure the highest peak in Indochina. Trekking through a primary forest giant centuries-old pine expanses of yellow bamboo. At the elevation of 2.600m above sea level, stop for breakfast and having a short rest in 25 minutes. Continue ascending to the top at 12.00 where stop for lunch in 40 minutes, then take some pictures for unforgettable experience and your proud of victory at the top. After taking in the scenery and atmosphere on Vietnam’s highest point, take the same way to go down to the foot of Mount.

Fansipan is a mountain in Vietnam, the highest in Indochina (comprising Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia), at 3,143 metres (10,312 ft). It is located in the Lào Cai Province of the Northwest region of Vietnam, 9 km southwest of Sa Pa Township in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

Fansipan is dubbed “the Roof of Indochina” and has about 2,024 floral varieties and 327 faunal species.

The topography of Fansipan is varied. Muong Hoa Valley, at the lowest altitude (950-1000 m), is created by a narrow strip of land at the base on the east side of the mountain. It can be climbed in a steep and fairly strenuous hike.

The initial metal pyramid was made and installed here by Soviet engineers from Hòa Bình in 1985. Amateur mountaineering expedition was the first one since the end of the colonial period and was officially timed to the 40th anniversary of the Victory Day of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany.

As of May 11, 2013, cable car to the top of Fansipan was inaugurated on the morning of February 2. This is a modern three-wire cable, the first in Asia presence. The total investment in the first phase of the project is 4,400 billion VND. The distance from the Muong Hoa peaked go through 6 main pillars, each pillar being 1 km.

The Guinness Book of World Records has awarded two Guinness certification for the Fansipan Sapa, including a three-wire cable car station and the difference between the world’s largest arrivals (1,410 m) cable cars and the world’s longest three-wire (6292.5 m).

At 4.30, transfer back to hotel to Sapa for shower. Then transfer to Lao Cai Station.
